New headquarters
Aero-Sense opens its new sustainable HQ
AERO-SENSE, the Belgian family business which specialises in the manufacture of certified aviation chemicals, has unveiled its brand new shared head office on the Roeselare-Leie canal, on Thursday 28 February, with an ‘office-warming’ for all employees of the residing companies.
Modern and energy-efficient building
AERO-SENSE’s ambitions are reflected in the splendid new building, which is a real eye-catcher along the Roeselare-Leie canal. “We deliberately opted for a modern and energy-efficient building with large windows, which makes it a lovely place to work. The ergonomics for our staff were given due consideration in all of our decisions. The acoustics and lighting is perfect and we even have our own welcoming bar. We also chose materials with a limited ecological footprint to finish our new building, such as locally sourced ash”, says Jochen Rosseel, COO of Aero-Sense.
Family business on an international stage
Despite the international expansion of AERO-SENSE, the aviation chemicals producer aims to retain the family business atmosphere. “At AERO-SENSE, there is a culture of open communication and the decision-making chain is kept deliberately short compared to many other international companies. It's something that our employees really appreciate”, Rosseel continues.
AERO-SENSE, led by the brothers Bart and Peter Sobry, has specialised in aviation chemicals for the past 12 years and supplies de-icing and anti-icing chemicals for general aviation, interior and exterior cleaning chemicals for aircraft, maintenance products and last but certainly not least, environmentally friendly aircraft insecticides. AERO-SENSE is one of the very few manufacturers worldwide who manufacture these non-flammable disinsection products according to WHO recommendations.
